Our Origin

The problem that
wouldn't stay solved.

Years of personal testing revealed a pattern. Standard fixtures delivered intensity — but not balance. Corals at the top thrived while lower structures struggled in shadow. Rockwork arranged around light limitations instead of natural reef aesthetics.

Scaling meant stacking. More units. More cost. More complexity. Still no real coverage. The industry kept calling this normal. We refused to.

The turning point came from outside the reef world entirely — observing large-scale stage lighting. Full spatial coverage. No harsh drop-off. No shadows swallowing the back of the stage.

The Insight
If architectural lighting could eliminate shadows across a stage, reef lighting could do the same across a tank. That became an engineering mission.
